he was also co-best man at Shining Armor's(who due to Spike's relationship with Twilight is by extension his big brother as well)wedding.

Twilight probably gave the toast and fulfilled some bet man duties while Spike stayed with him, held onto the ring until it was needed, and threw the Bacholer party, all things the best man er stallion er colt eh dragon is supposed to do.
